We'll be headed into Boston shortly for Sammy's heart cath. Plan looks like this:
I'm a wreck. Jay stayed home today to help get ready because I'm just so overwhelmed, I don't know where to begin.
Please keep Sammy (and us) in your thoughts the next few days. We could use the positive energy. Thanks.

Thinking of you today, tomorrow and always!
The Voss Family
My daughter Marianna recently had her pre fontan cath in sept. Everything went great with only minnimal coiling and her pressures were like 8 so we set a date of jan 10 to do fontan at the university of minnesota on jan 9 we went in for pre op and the surgeon came to see her and canceled the fontan on us and said she didn't believe Marianna would survive the procedure because she was too small she is 3 and wieghs 28pds. they then told us that she needed to gain 6 pds. in 90 days to have a chance to survive. she has since lost 2 pds. and we are taking her today to see a gi doc they will probibly admit her meanwhile I have sent records to a person in boston named sara I believe she is a nurse from cards who told me we may have a good chance to get a second opinion from the docs in boston so I'm trying to raise money for the trip. Please update
