It has been awhile since I visited your website and boy have you all been busy and Sammy has sure been busy growing :). Your family stills serves as an inspiration and promise of love and life and the American Dream that my brothers in arms and I are serving here in Iraq and fighting against terrorism for. I think Sammy has proven to be quite the little soldier as well in his abilities to perservere against tough odds and his zest for life and happiness shows through a most wonderful smile in these photos. May God continue to Bless you and your Family and thankyou again for Blessing so many of us with your story.

Jay & Erica: Sammy looks just fabulous! He has a wonderful smile and looks so robust and happy. Glad that the surgery went so well. Keep all of us at FEN in the loop.

If you've recently received an HLHS diagnosis
PLEASE contact us if you want to talk. Having others who have been through this there for us (even when we just needed to freak out!) has been so, so instrumental in coming to terms with what's we're up against.
If you're here because you wanted to show love and support
Thank you! We've been amazed at the influx of wishes and prayers and positive energy sent our way, and we can't begin to express how much that strength and support means to us. Please take a moment and sign the guestbook.
If you're looking for info on HLHS
Please check out the resources. We were overwhelmed with what's availabe on the Internet; hopefully this will narrow it down a little for you. Be sure to read up on all the babies who are doing well - there IS hope!
